Introduction

The following Terms of Service outline your obligations when using the WhatUCollect website. You can also review our Privacy Policy, which outlines our obligations and practices towards handling any personal information that you may provide to us.

Member Conduct

As a condition of use, you agree to not use WhatUCollect services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Service, or any other purpose not reasonably intended by WhatUCollect. WhatUCollect members may not:

  1. abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other WhatUCollect members
  2. post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any Content that is infringing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, profane, or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party
  3. post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from any WhatUCollect member
  4. post any copyrighted material without the express permission of the copyright holder, unless such copyright is owned by you
  5. create or submit unwanted email ("Spam") or messages to any other WhatUCollect members
  6. with the exception of accessing RSS feeds, you will not use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission.
  7. interfere with the operation of the WhatUCollect site or cause a disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
  8. bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the site
  9. attempt to impersonate another user or person
  10. infringe on WhatUCollect's intellectual property

Posting Items, Discussions, and Comments

WhatUCollect members retain ownership rights to the items and images they post. By posting items and images to the site you give WhatUCollect full permission to display such items and images. Users can remove items and images at any time. WhatUCollect does reserve the right to remove or modify the postings of its members if they are deemed inappropriate or do not follow the guidelines in our Terms of Service.

Any message posted in our Discussion Groups or Comments system expresses only the views of the author of the message and does not necessarily reflect the views of WhatUCollect.

Violations of Terms of Service

Violations of WhatUCollect policies may result in a range of actions, including but not limited to:

Modification of Terms of Service

WhatUCollect reserves the right to change or replace our Terms of Service at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Service, WhatUCollect will notify you by sending a message through the WhatUCollect Message service, which can be accessed by clicking on the "My Messages" link near the top of the site. You shall be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such modifications. Use of the Services by you following such notification constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Terms of Service as modified.

Miscellaneous

WhatUCollect does not currently provide services for buying, selling, trading, auctioning, etc. of users' items (although this may change in the future). Users are free to make such arrangements through the site's built-in message system or other means, but WhatUCollect cannot be held responsible for any such activity.

WhatUCollect reserves the right to delete inactive accounts or accounts that have not been used for a significant amount of time.

WhatUCollect cannot guarantee site up-time or that we will be around forever to display your listings, but we will do our best to ensure the site is running as smooth as possible with the least amount of down-time.

The word "skepticisms" is the longest typed word that alternates hands

The verb "cleave" is the only English word with two synonyms which are antonyms of each other: adhere and separate.

The word philatelist (stamp collector) stems for the Latin phase "Happy to avoid paying taxes".
